Cabarete is neighbors to Sosua, which is a 10 minutes from Cabarete. Another piece of heavenly beaches.

Less than an hour drive from Cabarete one can travel to the heart of Puerto Plata. The city of Puerto Plata, officially known as San Felipe de Puerto Plata, is the ninth-largest city in the Dominican Republic, and capital of the province of Puerto Plata with its beautiful beaches.

Apart from having one of the most beautiful beaches in the Atlantic, one can visit the colonial part of the city, The Fort, Adventure Park, Dolphin Habitats, Museums, Cast Iron Lighthouse.
